The Science

Studies show weighted blankets can help you sleep for longer as well as reduce movement which can disturb sleep in the first place.


Sleeping under weight can provide a beneficial calming and relaxing effect, helping to reduce anxiety and give you a calmer night’s sleep.


Deep Pressure Therapy evenly distributes a gentle weight and pressure on the body to mimic the sensation of being swaddled.


The weight stimulates the production of serotonin (happiness hormone), reduces cortisol (stress hormone) and increases melatonin (sleep hormone).

Details & How To Use

Our Original Sleeper Weighted Blanket comes in two pieces: the weighted duvet and duvet cover in cosy plush.


The Original Sleeper is designed to replace your regular duvet and can be used on its own. However, it can also be used alongside your regular duvet for extra warmth.

If it is your first time using a weighted blanket we recommend easing into your Sleeper. Start by using it on your lower body in bed or even on the sofa. After the first few nights you can bring it up to your whole body. It can take your body 14-30 days to adjust to this new weighted sensation.

WEIGHTED DUVET

  • Super-soft, 200 thread count cotton shell. Oeko-Tex certified.
  • Non-toxic, eco-friendly micro glass beads.
  • 10 x 10cm gridded stitching to ensure glass beads remain uniformly distributed.
  • 360° zipper system installed on the perimeter for easy attachment to our duvet covers.
  • 12 loops on the corner and sides so covers with ties can also be compatible.

REMOVABLE COVER

  • Cosy Plush: Micro-plush, polyester fibre.
  • All duvet covers come with both 360° zipper fastening system and 12 ties so they are compatible with all weighted blankets (Remy and other brands).

Great blanket, fast postage

The blanket is very well designed although it took me a while to work out the zip mechanism. The sizing isn't quite right for me but can't fault it otherwise.
